Package holidays to Spain could soon be at a premium because UK travellers are continuing to switch to what are perceived to be safe and stable destinations.

Greek holidays are also experiencing an upsurge in bookings and the country could reach capacity by March, according to one leading travel deals website.

Fifty Per Cent More Ski Packages to Bulgaria

Balkan Ski, part of the local Award winning Tour Operator Travel Solutions, has today launched its Winter season for 2017, with a whopping 50 per cent increase in capacity for ski packages from Belfast.

The Belfast-based specialist operator has also announced that prices will be held at 2016 prices and its popular 'Learn to Ski' packages will start from £499 fully inclusive.

Last year a Record for Belfast City Airport

George Best Belfast City Airport has reported a record year for passengers in 2015, carrying 2.7 million travellers, an increase of 5.4 per cent on the previous year.

Seven New Routes as Ryanair Delivers 70 Per Cent of Dublin's Growth

Ryanair has launched its 2016 winter schedule from Dublin which includes two new routes to Hamburg and Sofia. The new schedule will also include five new winter services to Athens, Bologna, Murcia, Porto and Seville.

Increased capacity on routes to Bucharest (five weekly) and London Gatwick (eight daily) have also been announced, with Ryanair's combined services catering for an extra 1.2 million customers over 68 winter routes this year. The winter schedule starts from October 30, 2016.

Pregnant Women Warned About Travel to Americas

Pregnant UK women travellers have been advised to rethink travel to regions affected by the Zika virus.

The caution comes as the World Health Organisation warned that the virus is likely to spread across nearly all of the Americas, apart from Canada and Chile.
